Battery Power TV: Knocked out of first place, Atlanta Braves aiming to get going in the month of May

The Atlanta Braves are in need of an offensive spark as they seek to keep the momentum of a brief two-game stay at Truist Park going and get their season back on track.

A rough road trip knocked Atlanta out of first place and has the club in the unusual position of chasing after the Philadelphia Phillies took over the top spot in the NL East. Can the offense take some cues from Marcell Ozuna and find its collective footing?

Meanwhile, the pitching staff has been a strength for the Braves. With the rotation feeling more settled, the bullpen is dealing with a couple of injuries after Pierce Johnson and Tyler Matzek landed on the IL. Can the relief corps keep their good work going? The Braves also made a couple of minor roster moves on the off day to address the bench, trading Luis Guillorme to the Angels and acquiring Zack Short from the Red Sox.

Grant McAuley and Kris Willis of Battery Power hit the headlines and preview the weekend series against the New York Mets. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe to the channel. Check out BatteryPower.com for the best Braves talk and analysis.
