Battery Power TV: Without Ronald Acuña Jr., the climb just got more difficult for the Atlanta Braves

As if the extended woes of the starting lineup weren't enough, the Atlanta Braves once again find themselves without the services of Ronald Acuña Jr. for the remainder of a season.

Acuña's second torn ACL ended his season on Sunday and only increases the difficulty for an offense searching for answers. Brian Snitker will have to solve the leadoff spot while the rest of his lineup attempts to get on track outside of Marcell Ozuna. The Braves will be more than happy to say farewell to a month of May that has been one of their worst offensive months in recent memory.

On the flip side, the pitching staff continues to carry the ball for the Braves. Chris Sale has turned back the clock and is currently one of the best pitchers in baseball, while Max Fried is also back on track. Can Atlanta get its rotation in order and continue to post up? Will rookie Spencer Schwellenbach help those efforts? All of that and a preview of the weekend series against the Oakland Athletics.

Grant McAuley and Kris Willis of Battery Power discuss a very eventful week of Braves baseball on this edition of BPTV. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe to the channel. Check out BatteryPower.com for the best Braves talk and analysis.
